Slid off

Slid off

Craving for the peak, I gaze,
Getting skilled to reveal the maze,
Footprints washed away by rain,
Trails disappear in such terrain,

Some say, trekking is 'Insane'
But for me, fresh leaves are cure for pain,
Breathtaking views and risky rocks,
Figuring out a way beyond the blocks,

This isn't the usual path of trek,
I need to detour around the wreck,
some felled trees and bark,
must have happened in the dark,

Sliding and rolling, in a heartbeat I was,
Fell with the loose soil, without a pause,
minor bruises tattooed on my hand,
Soil erosion effects on Forrest land!

Trees hold the soil, we know,
Don't cut'em, let them grow,
Let's not slide as human race,
Doesn't take a genius to solve this maze,

Just report tree cutting that you see,
fear not what consequence will be,
report as much tree cutting as you can,
one who protects nature, truly represents man!
