Lights
LIGHTS They dazzle and glow all around me, Shiny and bright as one could be Long back the light was one Sacred and worshiped – its call the sun Dawn would start the play And dusk would end the day And now the day extends Into the night’s shiny trends Light was the guide in dark And with it, boundaries we would mark But now the glow is strong, And with it, day is infinitely long Light has become the enemy of night It’s glow has become painfully bright How I fear, if one day it might Just get over and disappear from the sight.
